On June 10, 2018, the annual “Zhangjiang Cup” dragon boat race was held as scheduled in the Lvjiabang River. The “Zhangjiang Cup” dragon boat race, as a traditional event in the Zhangjiang region, has been rowing in the river of time for 12 years. However, for Xindao, our dragon boat has just left the port.

Although it was their first appearance, the enthusiasm and confidence of the team members were not affected as a result.
As the team with the most girls in the competition, our female contestants are not delicate or weak. They actively participate in every training on time and shoulder the heavy burden of “team responsibility” that belongs to them.

After each training session, the team members are full of a sense of achievement

The team members have never touched the oars, rowed boats, played drums, and are basically not familiar with water. Coupled with the psychological pressure brought by other professional or experienced teams, the numerous obstacles not only bring pressure, but also stimulate everyone’s burning spirit.

You may lose the competition, but you cannot lose with spirit and courage. Pursuing excellence in everything is also a value that Xindao people have always adhered to.

On the day of the competition, the team members came to the field early for warm-up, in order to show their best form. No matter how the players on both tracks are, we will do our best!

The Xindao Shenlong team, who participated for the first time, achieved a good result of second place in the first round of group stage and successfully entered the mini finals for competition. This is not only due to the hard work and dedication of the team members, but also because everyone wants to achieve their outstanding belief in not giving up.
